Meet the Artist *

I am a multidisciplinary artist passionate about exploring the intersections of folklore, fantasy, queer identity, politics, and nostalgia through diverse mediums. My work spans a variety of mediums, from painting, digital media, fiber art, and sculpture, reflecting my belief that creativity transcends boundaries and thrives on innovation.

My artistic journey has been shaped by a rich background in program coordination, public services, and community-based initiatives. Over the course of a decade working in libraries, I curated workshops and outreach programs that celebrated local stories while addressing critical issues, such as public health and social justice. These experiences taught me the importance of creating spaces where diverse perspectives can converge and thrive, an ethos that carries into every facet of my artistic and professional endeavors.

Inspired by Chicago’s dynamic communities, my work seeks to bridge gaps between disciplines and individuals. I’ve partnered with community leaders, researchers, and media professionals to craft projects that resonate at different literacy levels and cultural contexts. Through visual art, writing, and program design, I endeavor to translate complex concepts into accessible and impactful experiences—fostering dialogue and catalyzing change.

Ultimately, my practice reflects a belief that art is not only a means of expression but also a tool for empowerment. It is my goal to continue building partnerships, curating narratives, and creating works that inspire connection, understanding, and equity.

I invite you to explore my portfolio and join me on this ever-evolving creative journey.
